Izzy Davis (b. 2004, Boulder, Colorado) creates work that examines interactions and connections between humans and the natural world, specifically with trees. These explorations come directly from material: wood, paper, and foraged tree-materials are used to make surfaces, pigments, and inks. Imagery is informed by land, forests, and material interactions in nature by the human hand.
